On-the-Spot Interviews, Hiring, and More at LA County's First-Ever Youth@Work Expo 

"In-Person Job and Resource Fair for LA County Youth Ages 14-24 "

Los Angeles, CA – The LA County Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) is hosting the first-ever Youth@Work Expo, a free, in-person job and resource fair for youth ages 14-24 interested in exploring employment pathways to County careers. This is the first in a series of district by district youth expos bringing together current or potential Youth@Work participants and local employers and hiring managers for a day of networking, education, and opportunity.

The expo will feature on-site interviews with 50+employers and live recruitment, 15+ County departments, on the spot hiring for LA County internships through the County's Youth Bridges Program, 5 educational workshops, lunch, activities, and more! Keynote will be provided by Noel Gugliemi [ https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0346595/?utm_content=&utm_medium=email&utm_name=&utm_source=govdelivery&utm_term= ], an American actor most known for his roles in the Fast and Furious films and Training Day, about his experience with homelessness and gangs as a young teen growing up in Los Angeles and the importance of rising above adversity.
