Don't forget to adjust your clocks by one hour before going to bed on Saturday night. While you may lose an hour of sleep, the benefit is more daylight in the evenings!   Climate Smart Awards Program Know someone, a business, or an organization in Torrance that demonstrates the importance of environmental stewardship? Nominate them now for the Torrance Climate Smart Award! There are five categories to choose from: Climate Smart Energy Climate Smart Water Climate Smart Youth Climate Smart Community Climate Smart Business The deadline to nominate a person, business, or organization is April 30, 2024. NOMINATE WWII Internment Camp Wall Memorial Advisory Committee Are you a Torrance resident interested in serving your community? Applications are now being accepted to serve on the WWII Interment Camp Wall Memorial Advisory Committee! The committee will consult on the design, construction, and implementation of the new wall memorial planned at Columbia Park.
