Where you can enjoy hot springs in California.

I will have a lot of time off during this New Year's holiday, so I would like to go to a hot spring.
I have never been there, but I heard that Sycamore is a good place.

I don't usually travel far, so I would be happy to hear from anyone who knows of a place where I can go for a day trip or overnight stay from LA, or has been to a hot spring
I would appreciate it if you could give me some local information.

I've heard that Santa Barbara and a place called Solvang are good places to stop along the way.
Does anyone have any recommendations for stores, places, etc.?

If you know of any other interesting places where we can go for a day trip, one night, or two nights, we would appreciate it if you could share the information.
Even if it is not a hot spring, we are also thinking of places with good sake and nature.
