**NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF CANDIDATE FILING PERIOD*

For Non-Incumbent Prospective Candidates for office of Member of the City Council.

Notice is hereby given that the candidate nomination period for the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election has been extended to Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 5 p.m. for member of the City Council only. 

Elections Code Section 10225 allows for an extension of the nomination period for non-incumbent candidates when one or more of the eligible incumbents fail to file or qualify for office by the nomination period deadline, August 8, 2024.

The City of Hermosa Beach will be extending the nomination deadline to Wednesday, August  14, 2024, at 5 p.m., for non-incumbent candidates to obtain and file nomination papers for the following office:


* For two (2) Members of the City Council (full-term of four years)
