*Right of Entry Form Submissions Continue to Grow, Clearing the Way for Phase II Debris Removal [ https://recovery.lacounty.gov/debris-removal/?utm_content=&utm_medium=email&utm_name=&utm_source=govdelivery&utm_term= ]*

As of today, 2,667 Right of Entry forms with applicants deciding to opt-in to the county's free nonhazardous debris removal program have been submitted online. By opting into the program, residents are ensured safe professional removal of debris, including concrete foundations, at no direct cost to them. There also have been 36 applicants who have decided to opt-out of the program.

Residents must chose whether to opt-in or opt-out of the free nonhazardous debris removal program. Those with questions can call the* Fire Debris Hotline*, or get help completing the form at (*844) 347-3332. *In-person assistance also is available at the Disaster Recovery Centers [ https://recovery.lacounty.gov/recovery-centers/?utm_content=&utm_medium=email&utm_name=&utm_source=govdelivery&utm_term= ] open 9 AM to 8 PM. The deadline to submit the Right of Entry form [ https://recovery.lacounty.gov/debris-removal/?utm_content=&utm_medium=email&utm_name=&utm_source=govdelivery&utm_term= ] is March 31, 2025.

 

*Returning Safely*

In the Palisades Fire area, all city and county zones are open to residents. However, those returning must show ID to enter. Additionally, contractors and tow trucks are now allowed to get in, but must show proof of being hired by a resident to enter the area.

In the Eaton Fire area, all residents are also allowed to re-enter formerly evacuated areas.
