・賭け麻雀で初心者がカモにされる
・タバコの煙がひどい
・仲間割れしたり人がそろわない
・帰りたくても帰れず徹夜してしまう

よくないイメージがつきまとい、麻雀が楽しいゲームであるにもかかわらず
ダークな側面ばかりが目立って、興味があってもなかなか一歩を踏み出しにくい世界でした。
しかし【賭けない麻雀】によって劇的に麻雀のイメージが変貌しました！
日本では、年齢、性別を問わずに大勢の人が麻雀を楽しんでいます。
小・中学生用のスクールには週末50名以上が参加し、
地方、都市を問わず健康麻雀講座は募集人数を越える希望者が集まります。
またサイバーエージェントの藤田晋社長主導による麻雀をスポーツ化する
プロリーグが発足し、女性、若い世代へもクリーンな麻雀が広がっています。
【麻雀＝お金を賭ける】という固定概念さえなくなればどの年代でも楽しめる
ソーシャルゲームです。子どもの国語力向上と高齢者の認知症予防によいという
研究結果のほかに、コミュニケーションをはかりながら集中を繰り返すことで
緊張と緩和の相互作用でストレスリダクションにもなります。
ガーデナの麻雀道場らぽんでは日曜日の11時～13時まで無料で麻雀ができます。
未経験、初心者の方には無料でレクチャークラスがあります。
アメリカ、ヨーロッパでも日本式の麻雀が面白いと広がり始めています。
麻雀を一度覚えると一生涯の趣味となり世界に人とも交流ができます。
