Transfer to a Japanese account

I recently repaired my parents' house in Japan. I would like to transfer about 60,000 yen for the repair cost to the repair company. ？
If I transfer the money directly from my account in an American bank, I am afraid the fee will be too high. I have never done this before, so I am worried.
I've been looking on the internet and there are sites that offer simple electronic money transfers, but I'm not sure if any of them can send the money securely or if I will get ripped off.
