Please report fireworks or suspicious behavior by calling (310) 328-3456 for non-emergencies and 911 for emergencies. Second Torrance Historic Landmark Our Historic Preservation Commission has officially designated its second Historic Landmark during its June 20th meeting! This single-family residence, originally constructed in 1927, is located on Sonoma Street. The home embodies the distinctive characteristics of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, with a red tile roof, clay tile coping, arched entry, recessed windows, wood entry door with paneling, tile stair accents, and stucco finish all preserved. SEE THE HIGHLIGHTS I-405 Northbound Ramp The new northbound I-405 loop ramp from northbound Crenshaw Blvd. is opening this week as part of the I-405 at 182nd Street / Crenshaw Blvd. Operational Improvements Project. This ramp will complement the existing northbound onramp accessible from 182nd St. These improvements are designed to alleviate traffic congestion in the area.
