Earth Day Live Streaming Event Dear Earth Earth Thanksgiving SEAQUAL INITIATIVE Presentation

The U.S. Izuse Inari Shrine, which showcases traditional Japanese ・ customs, hosts an annual Earth Appreciation Festival （ Shinto ） on Earth Day, with a guest speaker who discusses sustainable lifestyles. This year, we have invited SEAQUAL INITIATIVE （ SEAQUAL ・ INITIATIVE ）, a Spain-based organization, to present the reality of marine debris and examples of recycling plastics, which are a major source of debris.
At the festival, we will express our gratitude to the three Zoka gods for the blessings of the water planet ・ Earth, and renew our commitment to ecological activities. Thanking the gods and praying to them is a traditional cultural ・ custom that the Japanese people have practiced since ancient times. We would very much like to pass it on to the next generation. Please help us by informing the public.

Los Angeles based shrine, home of myth ・ An American branch of the Izuse Inari Shrine, which has been enshrined in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture since the 12th century. Izumi Hasegawa, the shrine's chief priest, performs the shrine's rituals while interviewing famous stars as a movie reporter. We are currently fundraising for the first postwar shrine construction in Los Angeles. We would appreciate your cooperation.

A Spain-based organization dedicated to marine debris issues and trash recycling. It has collaborated with PUMA, a sporting goods company, CUPRA, a high-performance car brand of the car company Céato, and Simmons, a famous mattress and bed manufacturer. The presentation will be given by François ・Devy, Managing ・Director. The title of his presentation is "Together for a Clean Ocean," which is also the slogan of the organization.
