www.southbaycpr.net FAQ about classes Q1 : How long is the class? - For the certification class, CPR ( including AED ) takes about 2.5 to 3 hours and the First Aid class takes about 3 hours. CPR and First Aid are two separate classes.
- Short class for knowledge and skill acquisition only without certification is CPR & First Aid, approximately 3.5 hours for both. ( CPR class includes AED training )
- CPR/First Aid class for dogs and cats is about 1.5 hours
Q2 : What is the cost? - CPR class for general public $ 60, First Aid class $ 60, $ 100 if both are taken the same day, $ 10 for English textbook.

Q4 : What are the different CPR classes? CPR classes are available? - We have Adult/Child and Infant classes.
In the class, you will also learn how to use an AED. Infant CPR is usually offered as well; AED and infant training is included in the price.
For those who have received a CPR card from us in the past and it is currently valid, we have a reminder class that allows you to participate in First Aid and CPR for $ 15 each. Please use this as a refresher on CPR skills that are often forgotten ( No certification will be issued for this course ).
- We also have short classes that are shorter and less expensive. This is a simple class for those who do not need a certification but just want to learn. This class also covers adult/child, infant, and AED training.
ACLS and BLS classes for nurses are taught in English, but are available in the South Bay.
- Pet CPR and First Aid for dogs and cats are also available.
