Let's make "Kintsugi Accessory" by simple Kintsugi ？
You can make accessories using Japanese traditional techniques by laying out your own favorite layout and You will be able to create your own accessories using traditional Japanese techniques.

You will be using modern techniques such as putty and synthetic resins, so there is no need to worry about hand rash.
Please join us for this relatively easy kintsugi experience.

■ Materials for kintsugi: complete set → Putty, glue, gold powder, and other necessary items will be provided.

■ What is Kintsugi? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is a technique of restoring broken parts of vessels such as cracks, chips and cracks by gluing them with lacquer and Kintsugi is a restoration technique in which broken or chipped pieces are glued together with lacquer and then decorated with gold or other materials.
In Japanese history, earthenware with cracks repaired with lacquer has been found since the Jomon period.
This technique is derived from the spirit of the tea ceremony, which is to accept repaired vessels as they are.
Nowadays, more and more people restore their favorite vessels and use them for a long time, or enjoy the process and marks of kintsugi as art.



■ The simple kintsugi technique that you will experience this time is ？ ■

・ This workshop aims to provide "a casual kintsugi experience. This time, we will use "synthetic resin" which is relatively easy to handle. It is an easy experience that takes only about 3 hours because it is not prone to rashes. Please note that the materials used are different from natural lacquer and pure gold.


■ Precautions
・ This is a fine work. Small children are not allowed to participate in this event as they may accidentally ingest the product.
