Getting a California Driver's License

Hi ！
I am an international student currently living in West hollywood.

I'm in my second year here and I'm thinking about getting a driver's license here, but
I'm too stupid to know what to do.
I did some research on my own, but the text didn't make sense to me, so I would be glad to hear more details from someone who has actually obtained one>_ <

I know that I can take the test at a place called DMV, but
I need to study for the written test first before I do that. I think.

Where can I study for the written and practical test ？
I would like to know if there is something like a Japanese driving school ・ ・ ・ ！

*I am not confident in English and would like to take the test in I would like to take the test in Japanese, too.
