**_PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE_*

The *Planning Commission *of the City of Hermosa Beach shall hold an in-person public hearing on *Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 in City Hall Council Chambers located at 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, California 90254 *to consider the following: 


* *AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.21 OF THE HERMOSA BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS AND JUNIOR ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS TO COMPLY WITH RECENT CHANGES IN STATE LAW; AND FINDING THE ACTION TO BE STATUTORILY EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT UNDER SECTION 21080.17 OF THE PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE.*

If you challenge* *the above matter(s) in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that are raised at or before the public hearing. 

*PUBLIC PARTICIPATION. *Any member of the public is welcome to send *Community Development – Planning Department* written comments in advance of the hearing to _planning@hermosabeach.gov_ or provide public comment during the hearing.
