I would like to ask how to get to Sierra Madre Villa Station from PICO station near LA Convention.

I would like to take the
train from the pico station (1250 Flower St Los Angeles, CA 90015) near the LA Convention to Sierra Madre Villa Station （ Pasadena, CA 91107 ）.
I read that I need to take the A line, but is this A line the same as the A line to Downtown LA ？
I see on google map that I don't need to change trains, but I am not sure
