There are two types of divorce applications.
If you have been married for more than 5 years, you can apply for a regular divorce, and if the following conditions apply, you can apply for a simplified divorce.


[Conditions for simplified divorce]

If the couple has lived together for less than 5 years after marriage, no children, no spousal support payments, shared property $ no more than 53,000, shared liabilities $ no more than 7,000.


[Simplified Divorce Process]

1 ． Property and debts shared by both parties ・ Liabilities （ Property and debts created from marriage to date of separation ）, personal property ・ Liabilities （ Property and debts Before marriage and after separation List property and debts ）, tax returns for the past two years, investments ・, business ・ and other income, etc., share them with each other, discuss how they will be divided, and then both parties prepare their own written agreement and a court-appointed document for each other's signatures. 2 ． We prepare a Summary Divorce Petition ・ and file it with the court.

3 ． Wait for the written judgment to arrive six months and one day after the court receives the application.

4 ． If you change your address or contact information before the judgment is rendered, please contact us and we will file the change. If you wish to cancel the divorce application after the application has been filed, we will also handle the cancellation application.
