For those who are considering moving to Japan or living in two locations, we will share good real estate information and immigration know-how in Japan.

After 45 years in the U.S., I am seriously considering moving to Japan in the near future and just recently purchased a small house in front of the beach in "Izu", Japan. For now, I continue to live in two locations, one in LA and the other in Izu, in order to gradually get used to life in Japan. There were many "obstacles" before I bought a house in Japan, and at one point I even gave up on the idea of moving to Japan.
In Japan, I contacted more than 50 real estate agencies in Izu （ Atami, Ito ） and Shonan to find a house for rent or a used condominium for sale, but there were almost no rental properties available for a 70 year old man ？ like me with no relatives in Japan. However, I met with a real estate company in Izu. However, when I met a real estate company in Izu, my dream of moving to Japan became a reality.
