"65 is a senior citizen" You have a point.
Even if they don't look like old people, inside they are becoming like old cars ？
So it really makes sense that the retirement age is 65.
In my case, as soon as I heard the voice of 65, I started having various symptoms that I never had before. I started to have to go to the bathroom more often, I had heartburn, and my back became stiff when I stood up. I eat less and half a bowl of rice is enough
I hear spelling etc. 2 or 3 times and then I hear it again.
I feel young but going to mechanic to repair parts of old cars is going to become an everyday occurrence 🥴🤔.

I am a 51 year old male, I booked an appointment through the Rite Aid website a week ago, thinking it would be too crowded to make an appointment on 4/15 when the vaccine is available for people 16 and older, and I received the vaccine this morning. There were 4 people in front of me, but it took only 1-2 minutes per person to finish the vaccination, so I hardly had to wait for my turn. After the vaccination, I received a card with a record of my first vaccination and the date of my second vaccination. I read online that you have to wait for about 20 minutes to see if you have any sudden reactions, but I was not told anything, so I stayed in the car for about 15 minutes to see how I was doing and then left. It has been 5 or 6 hours since I received the vaccination and so far I have not experienced any side effects.

I did some searching on the internet myself and found that there are pros and cons.
I hope there is no discrimination between those who have received the vaccination and those who have not.

I am a proponent of vaccination for society as a whole, but I have no intention of being vaccinated myself.

Aren't we afraid if we all vaccinate together, blaming those who don't vaccinate? That's very Japanese. If they want to, they can, and if they don't want to, they don't have to. Sometimes, in theory, I think that might be true ？.
But if most of the population vaccinates, and after 10 years or so, those people disappear, a few will survive. It would be a boring world if you survived in a world of only that few people. I'd rather not have a future where only my family survives and there are no people around to treat them ！ That's how I came to get vaccinated.

I had my second one two weeks ago and my gf had her second one yesterday.

I only got chills the day after the second time, but today
she is feeling much worse, complaining of chills and not feeling well.
Now she is taking tylenol and sleeping. The women around her seem to have worse side effects
the second time around. Still, if this will give me antibodies against corona, then va-va-voom!

If this gets to the whole population, we can move freely again. We are planning to go to FL and NY to see relatives and friends we haven't seen in decades
. I hope we can go this fall.

Surviving in a world of only that few people would be a boring world. I'd rather not have a future where only my family survives and there are no people around to treat them ！ That's what I've come to inoculate myself with.

That won't happen, but if it does,
if you don't take the vaccine and no one is around in 10 years, you can disappear of your own accord then, so that's not a reason to take the vaccine.

I think the note said that the vaccine only works in June. That may be too short, as expected, but we certainly vaccinate every year for influenza and other diseases, perhaps to deal with variants. It is good to use one's own judgment. It might be hard to get into Japan.
