At her quinceañera photoshoot in 2004, Dr. Marina Serna Pulido ’16, ’23 sat outside of the Administration Building on the University of Redlands campus, convinced that college was unattainable.
Indigenous persons experience disproportionately high rates of violence, which often leads to them going missing and/or being murdered. May 5 has become the nationally recognized MMIP Day (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples).
