Welcome to Nishi Betsuin

We are a Jodo Shinshu Pure Land Temple, a branch of the Nishi Hongwanji Temple in Kyoto, Japan, and part of the Buddhist Churches of America (BCA).  We are situated near Little Tokyo in Downtown Los Angeles.  Our diverse Sangha (community) follows the teachings (Dharma) of Amida Buddha in the tradition of our founder Shinran Shonin.  Regular services are Sundays at 10AM and we welcome everyone to come join us.
